Our e-commerce package is based around OSCommerce for many of our clients (over 62,000 websites currently use OSCommerce as their e-commerce solution. This translates into an extra savings for you since you don't need to dish out an additional $500-$1,200 for a commercial e-commerce solution on top of your development costs. We can often have your e-commerce website package up and running in days (not weeks or months like our competitors). Your e-commerce package will come complete with a custom layout to differentiate your site from the competition; will include all the important features that you expect from an e-commerce website including account management, newsletter generation, inventory tracking, shipping modules; includes a completely manageable administrator back-end giving you total control over your products, promotions, cross-selling, and account management, and much much more! What you get

You get a professionally developed layout, including custom graphics and navigation that suits your business or corporate identity and a number of sub pages with other static information. You also get up to two dynamic content items (database driven content) from our "A" or "B" list.

Price

The price for our e-commerce web design package starts at $695.00

We say "starts" because perhaps there are one or two other features that you would like included in your package. Examples include anything from our "A" and "B" lists, or any other custom function you request such as a customized forum, or a classified ads section, or a dynamic blog section. In those cases, we are very flexible in providing whatever additional functions and features you want or need. We will do our very best to keep the price as low as possible to fit your budget.

Based on requested features and/or additional capabilities both the development time and the actual price of an e-commerce website package from Go Graphical varies from client to client. We do not sell cookie-cutter websites, there will be no website out there that looks exactly like your website. Your identity and branding is the most important IP your company posesses, you should promote and exploit it to the max.

We are also authorized resellers & installers for a large number of high end professional website applications including help desks, knowledge base systems, newsletter managers, and more. We'll recommend the systems best suited for your requirements (for example, if we have an $80 script package that will do everything you require we'll recommend that instead of billing you for 5 hours reinventing the wheel at a higher cost). We will, of course, customize all packages to fit your website style and your brand identity.

There are and never will be any hidden costs. You will know upfront before we start how much it is going to cost, and you will have a signed contract stating the facts.

Choosing a Domain Name

Your domain name should reflect what your business name is, or what your business does. You should also try to pick something that isn't difficult for customers to type! If your company name is, for example, "MacGraw Integrated Plastic Hobby Toys Ltd.", you don't want a long cumbersome domain name of macgrawintegratedplastichobbytoysltd.com. Who can type or remember that? Going with a domain name of MacGrawPlastics.com or MIPHobbyToys.com would be a far wiser choice. We can help you identify which domain name choices are available and suitable for your business, and we can also take care of the registraton for you as part of your web design package. (Domain names are $15.00 CDN per year for a .com .net or .org and $20 per year for .ca through Go Graphical's domain name registration service.)

A real-world example. One of our clients, J & P Hobby Supplies, chose a smart and easy to remember domain name of jphobbies.com for their website. It's easy to remember, it describes what their website is about, it's simple to type, and their website comes up on many search engines using search terms without jphobbies.com mentioned in the search at all. The content of your website pages is what drives the results of a search, not the domain name in almost all cases. (Go check the jphobbies.com website and try a google search for just about any product in their catalog. You'll be suprized, we have almost all of them in the top 10 results on Google!) Think smart, your domain name is going to be on all your business cards and in all your print advertising. Keep it short and simple so your clients can get to you without making typing mistakes!

Choosing a webhost

If you do not have a webhost, we can recommend one for you -- we have tried countless different webhosts through the years and know which ones are: #1 reliable, #2 inexpensive and include the features you require and #3 have been in business for a long time and will continue to be in business for many years to come (nothing's worse than having your website suddenly vanish because your host went out of business!). We also do have our own webhosting service available to our clients, but it is not our business focus. You are welcome to host with us, we have a 99.9% uptime guarantee and we have very fast servers and multiple redundant telco connections but you're just as welcome to host elsewhere. That's just how honest we are.

SSL Cert is strongly recommended for any E-Commerce package. We can take care of your SSL cert for you if you prefer, we are an authorized GeoTrust and Digicert provider.
